PRICING

To give you an accurate quote about the service/repair cost of your instrument it is important to have an in-person consultation and evaluation of your instrument. Before the service starts, I inspect and assess your instrument and provide you with a free estimate. I then only start the work after the estimated cost has been accepted. 

There are various service options for woodwind instruments, the most common service I recommend is the general service which should be done every 12-16 months to ensure that the instrument is always in a perfect working order.

Besides the general service there are other services available, extended service, repad and overhaul. Pricing for these services can be given after the initial inspection of the instrument.

PRICING:

Clarinet - General Service: $150

Soprano, Alto & Tenor Saxophones - General Service: $170

Baritone Saxophones - General Service: $200-250

Flute - General Service: $140

Additional costs for materials like pads, felts, cork ect. can occur.

Services Explained:

Clarinet - General Service, plastic body.

General service includes:

·       Checking of all pads and corks.

·       Replace key corks and felts. (as required)

·       Replace pads if necessary. (additional material cost, priced per pad)

·       Check tenon corks (if a tenon cork needs replacement, additional cost of 40 dollars will be charged.)

·       Cleaning of body, pads and keywork.

·       Regulate keywork.

·       Keywork oiled.

·       Instrument play tested.

 Clarinet - Extended Service for wooden instruments.

 Extended service includes:

·       Disassemble instrument.

·       Checking of all pads and corks.

·       Replace key corks and felts. (as required)

·       Replace pads if necessary. (additional material cost, priced per pad)

·       Check tenon corks. (if a tenon cork needs replacement, additional cost of 40 dollars will be charged)

·       Cleaning of body, pads and keywork.

·       Polish keywork.

·       Oil all wooden parts of the instrument with bore oil.

·       After assembling the instrument, realignment, and mechanical adjustment.

·       Instrument play tested.

 Saxophones - General Service:

 General service includes:

·       Checking of all pads and corks.

·       Replace key corks and felts. (as required)

·       Replace pads if necessary. (additional material cost, priced per pad)

·       Check neck cork. (If a neck cork needs replacement, an additional cost of 40 dollars will be charged.)

·       Cleaning of body, and keywork

·       Keywork oiled.

Saxophones - Extended Service:
